Cargo Disputes

Cargo (CDL)

We provide expert advice at all stages of the marine claims and disputes process, including marine accident investigation. We have developed a broad spectrum of expertise, with many of our technical team having provided oral and written evidence at court and arbitration proceedings.

Our work includes formal enquiries on behalf of governments as well as commercial and private clients. We have developed close relationships with P&I clubs, property underwriters and admiralty law firms globally and work closely with our clients to achieve the best possible results.

Our work in claims, disputes and litigation covers practically every aspect of the marine business. The main areas of our involvement in cargo include: total loss, salvage and wreck removal, marine pollution, cargo damage, unsafe berths and ports, slow steaming, navigation, liquid cargo shortage, charter party disputes, seaworthiness and liquefaction.
