Qing Zhong Liu

Qing Zhong joined LOC in 2009, and is a Class 1 Master Mariner based in Qingdao, China. Qing Zhong has nearly 15 years’ seagoing experience on container, general cargo vessels and bulk carriers, including five years’ sailing in command. He also spent six years ashore in ship management, developing and promoting a new Safety Management System (SMS) and then managing that system as Marine Manager. Since joining LOC, Qing Zhong has gained extensive marine warranty survey experience with FPSO conversion/sea trial, various loadouts, transportations from fabrication yard to offshore fields, offshore installations of jackets/modules/rigs and offshore pipelaying.  He has undertaken condition and other vessel surveys and provided consultancy services to P&I clubs, admiralty lawyers, owners and insurance interests, including marine accident surveys, damage surveys, CMID inspection, vessels condition surveys, on/off hire surveys and pre-purchase surveys. Qing Zhong is a graduate of Shanghai Maritime University. Fluent in English and Mandarin
