Kervin joined LOC in 2011 and is the Engineering Director at LOCA’s office in Perth.
Kervin brings years of research, design and project experience, where he worked as an analyst, design engineer and project engineer for a range of marine installation contractors.
Kervin’s fixed object work has been energy-related, dealing with both design and installation of offshore oil and gas structures. He has been involved in a number of high-profile offshore construction projects in Australia. The projects have included the heaviest topside float-over installations to date, jacket launches and installation, caissons float-off and installation, STP Buoy & Mooring installation, Offshore Heavy lift installation, trailered and lifted loadout and FPSO and Semi-Submersible New build.
Kervin graduated from UWA with a First Class Honours degree in Civil Engineering. He went on to obtain his PhD in Engineering where he specialises in hydrodynamics and the mechanics of scour along offshore pipelines.
