About

Riccardo joined Longitude in 2015 and has shown himself to be a highly motivated engineer with strong organisational, problem solving, team working and leadership skills.

Over the past years through LOC and Longitude placements Riccardo has developed critical problem assessment and solving skills in both engineering analysis and marine operations overview.

He is a chartered Naval Architect and Member of RINA.

Riccardo has experience in numerous projects as Main Engineer and Assisting project managing providing technical and
cost evaluation for large variation orders. Involved in the discussion and approval for the next phase of the works, site
restauration. He has extensive knowledge and experience of designing, analysing and surveying a range of fixed and
floating offshore structures including mobile offshore jack-up units, semi-submersibles and barges.

In addition to performing numerous site specific assessments and location approvals, he has been involved in Developing
several Python scripts for pre / post processing in Orcaflex to reduce the run time of simulations, and Orcaflex soil
interaction model to represent the reaction forces of a buried cable .
