LOC Middle East and LOC London, announce the transfer of Richard Bailey from his position of Hull & Machinery Manager in Dubai, to LOC’s head office in London effective 1st July 2018.

At the time of the transfer, Richard will have been with the LOC Group for 5 years. His background includes both engineering and management roles in the industry. Richard has a degree in Mechanical and Marine Engineering, is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology. He takes a wealth of experience to London’s H&M team.

Joe Astorina, Senior Marine Consultant in LOC’s Dubai office, has been appointed Richard’s successor as Hull & Machinery Manager for LOC Middle East, effective 1st May 2018. Joe completed a traditional marine engineer apprenticeship in Australia and has served in all ranks up to chief engineer on a wide variety of vessels.   He has over 45 years of experience, specialising in all types of marine casualty investigation, and machinery & engineering consultancy. Joe transferred to LOC ME during the acquisition of SCUA Middle East in April 2013.

LOC ME, also wish to announce the appointment of Dmitrij Zabrovskij as a Marine Consultant in their H&M Department. Dmitrij has extensive experience in the MENA region within ship management and ship repair and further strengthens the UAE H&M team’s capabilities.
