IMarEST presentation by Stanley George
LOC’s Stanley George will be presenting at IMarEST on Marine Incidents – A Technical and Financial Perspective on 22nd June.
The presentation consists of a brief discussion on most common marine /casualties based on ship type, incident type with some cost analysis and case studies. The presentation focuses on the importance of carrying out a detailed investigation of the incident and the extent of the damage. This will not only assist us to understand the root cause of the incident which can help to prevent similar occurrences but will also help the stake holders to limit the costs by carrying out the permanent repairs efficiently and put the vessel back in operation with minimum off hire cost.
The presentation will be of interest to ship owners, ship managers/operators, charterers, insurers and various other marine sectors.
