Gastech Barcelona 2018

Gastech is the leading exhibition and conference for the global gas, LNG and energy industries for over 45 years. YoungGastech is the event specifically designed for final year students and young professionals in the industry.

Hieu Le has won the YoungGastech award for best essay in Gastech 2017 Tokyo with the topic “THE EMERGING ROLE OF LNG IN THE MARITIME INDUSTRY – A YOUNG NAVAL ARCHITECT’S PERSPECTIVE”.

This year at Gastech 2018 in Barcelona, Hieu will be moderating a session of the event named “Attracting (and Retaining) the Next Talent to the Industry: How Can Energy Promote its Brand to Millennials”.   Speakers of the events include Roger Bound – Vice President of Global Gas (Shell), Debbie Turner -Director of SSY Gas Limited, Andre Pampellone – Director Business Development (McDermott), Javid Talib – Vice President and Director Floating Technology Applications (Black & Veatch), and Anton Safronov – Minister of Trade, Investment & Enterprise (Sakha Republic (Yakutia), Russia).
