Our Organisations

LOC

LOC was created in 1979, and operates in the shipping, oil & gas and renewables sectors, providing loss prevention (marine warranty, surveys, inspections & audits, technical due diligence), loss management (marine casualties, claims, disputes and litigation) and marine and engineering consultancy services. Our clients comprise P&I clubs, H&M insurers, underwriters, brokers, oil and gas companies, energy utilities, field operators, developers, EPC contractors, installation contractors, drilling contractors, lawyers, shipowners, governments, and turbine and cable manufacturers.

Longitude

Longitude was created in 2006 to provide independent engineering and design consulting to the shipping, oil & gas and renewables sectors. Consulting and engineering services are provided by Longitude for all marine structures but with a particular focus on the construction, transportation and installation phases of an offshore project. For floating structures these services are provided for the whole lifecycle, from concept to operations, life extension and decommissioning.

John LeBourhis

John LeBourhis, established in 1976, delivers rig approval services around the globe. Located in Houston and acquired by LOC Group in 2017, John LeBourhis provides high quality marine consulting and survey services for offshore construction, drilling and production operations.

Innosea

Innosea, acquired by LOC Group in 2018, is an independent engineering firm specialising in offshore renewables. Established as a technology spinout from the Ecoles Centrale de Nantes, Innosea works at the cutting edge of research and development in wind, wave and tidal energy. Innosea provides consulting and engineering services to the marine renewables industry with a particular focus on fixed and floating substructure concept development and turbine engineering and analysis.

AqualisBraemar 

AqualisBraemar ASA is a public listed company that, through its subsidiaries and associates, offers adjusting, marine, offshore and renewables consultancy services to the energy, shipping and insurance industries. The group employs specialist engineers, naval architects, master mariners, loss adjusters and technical consultants in 48 offices located across 33 countries.

OWC 

Founded in 2011, OWC is a specialised and globally focussed technical advisor, engineering and project management consultancy providing independent services to the offshore wind industry, having worked on projects amounting to 68 GW across Europe, Asia and the US.
