Upstream Oil & Gas Consulting

Upstream energy sources continue to play a significant role in the global energy mix. ABL Group has provided independent marine and engineering consulting expertise since the ‘80s, to support clients and projects across the upstream space to de-risk marine operations to an acceptable level. Our experience covers market-leading expertise in offshore rigs and in supporting offshore platforms at any stage of an asset’s lifecycle. We have worked with a wide range of oil and gas majors, national companies and leading drilling and survey contractors in the world. Our work is to provide impartial third-party advice across a broad range of technical consultancy services, to help clients deliver their energy projects at an acceptable minimum level of risk – thereby also minimising risk posed by infrastructures to surrounding environments.

With increasing worldwide pressure on companies to show their contribution to the fight against climate change, the oil & gas industry also faces pressure in upcoming years to consider their footprint in supporting a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. In combining long-term project experience across upstream, with cutting-edge innovation and engineering consultancy in carbon-reducing initiatives, ABL Group is perfectly positioned to support our clients across the industry in their energy transition journey.
