About
Kenny is a Naval Architect who graduated from the University of Glasglow and Strathclyde. With 15 years of experience in the Marine Warranty industry, he is currently the General Manager of Energy Services in the ABL Singapore office and also the Branch Manager for the Taiwan office.
Throughout his career, he has provided Marine Warranty Services to a wide range of clients in the Oil & Gas, Renewables and Marine sectors worldwide. From reviewing of engineering calculations, analyses, and procedures, to managing high-profile projects with clients and contractors, to attendances worldwide as Marine Warranty Surveyor or Client Reps. He has built close relationships with various major oil clients as well as freight forwarders and marine services providers and maintains good contacts with local brokers, insurers and underwriters. He has provided services for major FPSO conversion projects, FPU construction projects, Offshore installation and pipelaying / cable-laying operations, Float-on and Float-off operations and also major offshore wind farm projects in Asia. Including one of the lifting and installation operations of a module weighing over 7,000t and floatover of 15,000t topside operation.
He is responsible for the quality control and day-to-day operations of the MWS team as well as the commercial aspects in the Singapore and Taiwan office.
