About
Kamrul joined ABL Group in 2011, and is a Master Mariner and Associate based in London.
Kamrul has served as Master on product and crude oil tankers. He also has experience with OBO, bulk and log carriers.
Additionally, he has extensive shore management experience as a Marine Superintendent, Operations Manager, HSSE Manager and Fleet Manager in a Singapore based company owning and operating small/medium sized product and chemical tankers.
Since joining ABL Group, Kamrul has been involved in all aspects of oil tanker operations for various clients. He has prepared reports and provided opinion for Arbitration hearings.
Kamrul is an OCIMF accredited OVID inspector. He has a wide variety of Marine Warranty and consultancy experience in both oil/gas and offshore windfarm projects such as suitability/condition surveys, CMID inspections of various types of vessel, load-out of heavy project cargo and tow approval for cargo barges, dead ships, accommodation barges, cable laying barges, LNG tankers, FPSO/FSO and VLCC as well as installation activities for offshore oil, gas and windfarms.
Vast experience of tanker practice in all ranks including Master and experience with carriage of crude oil, clean and dirty petroleum products and orange juice. Some experience with chemicals, molasses, palm and vegetable oils.
